Part-Time Music Coordinator

The FMC Church Music Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and planning music for the church. This includes collaborating with the worship team, coordinating the selection of appropriate music for services, and ensuring that music enhances the spiritual atmosphere of the congregation.

Primary Qualifications:

• A deep personal faith and commitment to Christian worship.

• Proficiency in one or more musical instruments (e.g., piano, guitar, organ).

• Strong vocal ability and/or experience in directing choirs.

• Previous experience in music ministry or related field.

• Knowledge of a wide range of music styles, including hymns, contemporary worship songs, and gospel music.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work well with diverse teams and volunteers.

• Comfortable with modern music technology (e.g., sound systems, music software).

Compensation range 40 hours per month @$25.00/hour totaling $12,000.00 per year

This is a one-year contract, and the position will be reevaluated at that time.
